    Well,i dont know much about ajax,but i have seen one site where free chat app can be found, its pcpin.com .Though its not ajax based ,but its good.

    This is nice Ajax chat application , when i implemented in my php application, it worked fine but , just refresh the browser the chat is collapsed and from login it is asking, if there is any other tool to put chat functionality for my application..

    Just read the article, keep up the good work! You forgot to mention so called ‘blab’ chats – BlaB! Lite: http://hot-things.net/blab-lite-ajax-chat – irc-like chat with great look and BlaB! IM which is a sort of 1-2-1 chat: http://hot-things.net/blab-im-ajax-php-messenger – both AJAX based.
